At S&K, we’re having fun with our 14 varieties, with half of them hailing from Portugal, including Alvarinho, Arinto, Souzão, Tinta Barroca, Tinto Cão, Tinta Roriz and Touriga Nacional.

Join us to explore rare and unusual Portuguese cultivars through a guided tasting experience with an S&K wine expert. You’ll sample a curated selection of current and back vintage table wines and our rare alternate Portuguese fortified wines, while learning the story behind S&K’s love of Iberian varietals and why we believe they are perfectly suited to the Rutherglen climate.

As part of the experience, you’ll also take a wander through one of our Portuguese vineyards and chat about sustainability, and how we’re looking after this special patch of Rutherglen for the next generation.

Each tour starts and finishes in our Cellar Door, guests should arrive at least 10 minutes prior to commencement. 

Please wear enclosed and flat footwear (no heels, thongs/flip-flops, sandals etc). This is a safety requirement for entering our working winery.
